Tina Cook Small animal receptionist
Tina has worked at Sterner’s since August of 2001. She and her husband Matt have 3 children, 3 dogs and 2 cats. Outside interests include spending time with her 2 granddaughters, scrap booking, flower gardens and spending time with family and friends. Becky Kasper Small animal receptionist Becky joined the SVC staff in July of 2007. She is married and has two children. They have 2 dogs, Jasmine and Brody. Becky is currently attending Lansing Community College. Her favorite past times include traveling, spending time with her family and friends and just enjoying life in general. Nichole Eckley
Large animal receptionist Nichole moved to Michigan in 1995 and has been with SVC since 1996. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She spends her free time at school related sports events with her kids. Her hobbies include dancing, camping and walking her three dogs.

Rachel Peterson
Veterinary Technician Rachel Peterson Graduated from Michigan State University in 2006 with her bachelor’s degree in Animal Science and is now attending Penn Foster to obtain her license and degree in Veterinary Technology. She joined the staff at SVC in September of 2006. She has 2 dogs, Mara and Coach Ditka, and 3 cats, Layla Stella, and Itty Bitty. She enjoys spending time with her husband and friends, reading, cooking and gardening.
Maureen Veterinary Technician Maureen is a 1982 graduate from Northeast Missouri State University with a BS in animal science and an associate’s degree in veterinary technology. She joined the staff at SVC in 1998. She has 2 dogs Katie & Lucy, and 6 cats, Emily, Sally, Grandma (Mittens), “Stan the Man,” Licorice and Sawyer. She enjoys spending time with family as well as 2 and 4 legged friends. Denise Office Manager Veterinary Technician Denise is a 1983 graduate of Wayne County Community College and joined the staff at SVC in 1997. She has 5 dogs, 3 cats, a turtle, bird and many chickens and ducks. She enjoys dog obedience trials, Tiger baseball and spending time with her husband and son. Leigh Ann Curtis Veterinary Technician Leigh Ann is a Licensed Veterinary Technician and a 1982 graduate from MSU’s Veterinary Technology program. She has been with Sterner’s since 1984. Her interests include activities with the local SCA Equestrian group, 4-H goats and horses with trail riding program in Barry County. She resides in Nashville, MI with her husband, three children and a variety of pets. Abbey Stanley
Veterinary Technician Abbey is a 2004 graduate of Bel-Rea Institute of Animal Technology in Denver, Colorado. She has been employed as a technician since May of 2005. She currently resides in Stanton with her four dogs, six cats and eight horses.
Rae Courter Veterinary Technician Rae has been with SVC since 2003. She has 4 dogs, and 1 cat. She enjoys fishing, camping, hiking and spending time with her husband and two kids. She grew up here in Ionia and graduated from IHS in 1994.
