New Feline Vaccines
Feline sarcomas have been linked to adjuvants present in most vaccines. We have switched to the only non-adjuvanted vaccine currently available to decrease the risk of vaccine-associated tumors.
To ensure patients receive the most advanced protection against feline leukemia (FeLV), Sterner Veterinary Clinic is switching to PUREVAX® Recombinant Leukemia Vaccine administered with the VET JET™ transdermal vaccination system. This is the first non-adjuvanted feline leukemia vaccine to offer the enhanced immune response of transdermal vaccination, plus advanced recombinant vaccine technology. The VET JET transdermal vaccination system creates a dispersion pattern that deposits vaccine directly into the immune cell-rich layers of tissue – without using a needle, at a lower volume dose.
